1. Introduction

1.1. These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of the Click Valet platform (“Platform”) and the services provided through it. By accessing or using the Platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, you must not use the Platform.

1.2. Click Valet is a platform that connects customers with independent car valeting service providers (“Valeters”). We do not provide car valeting services directly and are not responsible for the services provided by Valeters.

2. Booking and Payment

2.1. To book a car valeting service, you must select a Valeter, choose the desired services, and provide the necessary information, including your location, and preferred date and time.

2.2. Payment for the booked service must be made through the Platform using the available payment methods. You will be charged the amount specified by the Valeter for the selected service.

2.3. Some Valeters may require access to water and/or electricity to perform their services. It is your responsibility to ensure that these amenities are available at the location where the service will be provided. The Valeter’s listing will specify whether they offer their own water and/or electricity supply.

2.4. Once a booking is confirmed, you will receive a confirmation email with the booking details. The Valeter will also be notified of the booking.

3. Cancellations and Refunds

3.1. You may cancel a booking up to 24 hours before the scheduled service time without incurring any cancellation fees. Cancellations made within 24 hours of the scheduled service time may be subject to a cancellation fee, as determined by the Valeter.

3.2. If you need to cancel a booking, you can do so through your account on the Platform or by contacting our customer support team.

3.3. Refunds for cancelled bookings will be processed automatically, unless the cancellation is made less than 24 hours before the scheduled service time. In such cases, you would need to email enquiries@clickvalet.co.uk, and we will raise a dispute and create a claim.

4. Valeter Responsibilities

4.1. Valeters are solely responsible for providing the car valeting services booked through the Platform. Click Valet does not control or supervise the Valeters’ work and is not liable for any issues arising from the services provided.

4.2. Valeters are required to maintain appropriate insurance coverage and comply with all relevant laws and regulations.

4.3. If you have any complaints or issues with the service provided by a Valeter, you should first attempt to resolve the matter directly with the Valeter. If a resolution cannot be reached, you may contact our customer support team for assistance.

5. Customer Responsibilities

5.1. You are responsible for providing accurate information when booking a service, including your contact details, vehicle information, and location.

5.2. You must ensure that your vehicle is accessible to the Valeter at the scheduled service time and that there is sufficient space for the Valeter to work safely.

5.3. If your booking requires access to water and/or electricity, you must ensure that these amenities are available at the service location, unless the Valeter has specified that they offer their own water and/or electricity supply.

5.4. You agree to treat Valeters with respect and provide a safe working environment.

6. Liability and Indemnification

6.1. Click Valet is not liable for any damages, losses, injuries, or any consequential, incidental, or special damages resulting from the use of the Platform or the services provided by Valeters. This includes, but is not limited to, damage to your vehicle, property, or person.

6.2. You agree to indemnify and hold Click Valet harmless from any claims, demands, losses, liabilities, damages, costs, and expenses (including legal fees) arising out of or in connection with your use of the Platform or the services provided by Valeters.

7. Intellectual Property

7.1. All intellectual property rights related to the Platform, including trademarks, logos, and content, are owned by Click Valet or its licensors. You may not use, reproduce, distribute, or use any of the Platform’s intellectual property in a way that implies endorsement or affiliation with Click Valet without prior written consent.

8. Privacy and Data Protection

8.1. We collect and process personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. By using the Platform, you consent to the collection, use, and processing of your personal data as described in the Privacy Policy.

9. Amendments and Termination

9.1. Click Valet reserves the right to amend these Terms at any time. Any changes will be effective immediately upon posting the revised Terms on the Platform. Your continued use of the Platform after the posting of the revised Terms constitutes your acceptance of the changes.

9.2. Click Valet may terminate or suspend your access to the Platform at any time, without notice, for any reason, including if we believe that you have violated these Terms.

10. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

10.1. These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

11. Valeter Verification and Quality Control

11.1. At Click Valet, we strive to maintain a high standard of service by implementing a thorough verification process for Valeters. While any Valeter can create a free listing on our platform, they must undergo a manual approval process before they can accept bookings. This process includes verifying their company details, directory information, company address, and previous trading history to ensure legitimacy. Repeated complaints or violations of the platform’s guidelines will result in their listing being permanently removed from the platform, and they will not be able to list again.

11.2. However, please note that despite our best efforts to verify Valeters, we cannot guarantee the quality of service you will receive. In the event of any issues or problems with the service provided, the responsibility lies with the Valeter’s company and not with Click Valet. We encourage customers to review ratings and reviews from previous customers to make informed decisions when choosing a Valeter.

12. Ratings and Reviews

12.1. At Click Valet, we value the honest feedback provided by our customers who have booked and paid for a Valeter’s services through our platform. To ensure the integrity and reliability of our rating and review system, only customers who have successfully completed a booking and payment through Click Valet are eligible to leave a review for the Valeter they hired.

12.2. This policy helps maintain the authenticity of the ratings and reviews, as it ensures that the feedback comes from genuine customers who have experienced the Valeter’s services firsthand. By restricting reviews to paid customers, we aim to prevent fake or biased reviews from influencing the overall ratings and maintain a trustworthy environment for both customers and Valeters.

12.3. We encourage all customers to share their honest opinions about the service they received, including the quality of work, punctuality, communication, and overall experience. These reviews not only help other customers make informed decisions when choosing a Valeter but also provide valuable feedback for Valeters to improve their services and grow their business.

12.4. Rest assured that we do not modify or remove reviews unless they violate our review guidelines, such as containing offensive language, spam, or irrelevant content. We strive to maintain an unbiased and transparent rating and review system that benefits both customers and Valeters.

13. Dispute Resolution

13.1. In the event of any issues or problems with the service you received from a Valeter booked through Click Valet, please contact our customer support team at enquiries@clickvalet.co.uk. We will promptly create a case and investigate the matter by reaching out to the Valeter to gather their perspective on the situation.

13.2. Our team will carefully review the information provided by both parties before making a decision. If your case is successful, we will issue you a refund in accordance with our refund policy and the Valeter’s individual terms and conditions.

13.3. Please note that if a Valeter receives repeated complaints or violates our platform’s guidelines, they may be removed from Click Valet and prohibited from creating future listings on our platform. Click Valet reserves the right to remove any Valeter at its sole discretion, without prior notice, if deemed necessary to maintain a high-quality, trustworthy service. We strive to maintain a high-quality, trustworthy service for all customers.

14. Limitation of Liability

14.1. As a platform that connects customers with independent Valeters, Click Valet serves primarily as a software provider and intermediary, offering listings, payment gateways, and booking systems. We are not liable for any damages, delays, or issues relating to the valeting services provided by the Valeters.

14.2. Any liability for damages, issues, or other concerns related to the valeting service lies directly with the valeting company. By using Click Valet, you acknowledge and agree that we are not responsible for any losses, damages, or claims arising from the services provided by the Valeters.

15. Severability

15.1. If any provision of these Terms and Conditions is found to be invalid, illegal, or unenforceable, the validity, legality, and enforceability of the remaining provisions shall not in any way be affected or impaired thereby. The invalid, illegal, or unenforceable provision shall be replaced by a valid, legal, and enforceable provision that most closely reflects the original intent of the parties.

16. Intellectual Property

16.1. All intellectual property rights related to the Platform, including trademarks, logos, and content, are owned by Click Valet or its licensors. You may not use, reproduce, or distribute any of the Platform’s intellectual property without prior written consent.

16.2. By submitting content (such as reviews, photos, or company information) to the platform, users grant Click Valet a non-exclusive, royalty-free, perpetual, and worldwide license to use, reproduce, and display this content in connection with the platform and its promotion, for the purpose of operating, promoting, and improving the Click Valet platform and its services.

16.3. Click Valet has created many of the initial free listings for Valeters on the platform. If a Valeter believes that their listing or any content associated with it infringes upon their intellectual property rights or wishes to have their listing removed, they should contact Click Valet at enquiries@clickvalet.co.uk. Upon receipt of a valid request, Click Valet will promptly remove the infringing listing and any associated content from the platform.

17. User Conduct

17.1. When using the Click Valet platform, you agree to:

  • a. Provide accurate, current, and complete information about yourself and your vehicle when making a booking.
  • b. Not submit false, misleading, or fraudulent information or content.
  • c. Not engage in any activity that interferes with or disrupts the platform’s functionality, including but not limited to hacking, spamming, or uploading viruses or malicious code.
  • d. Not harass, threaten, or engage in any abusive behavior towards other users, Valeters, or Click Valet staff.
  • e. Not attempt to circumvent any security measures or access any part of the platform that you are not authorized to access.

17.2. Click Valet reserves the right to investigate and take appropriate legal action against anyone who violates these user conduct terms, including but not limited to removing the offending content, suspending or terminating the user’s access to the platform, and reporting the misconduct to the relevant authorities.

17.3. If you encounter any user misconduct or believe that another user has violated these terms, please report it to Click Valet at enquiries@clickvalet.co.uk. We will investigate the matter and take appropriate action to maintain a safe and trustworthy environment for all users.

18. Third-Party Links

18.1. The Click Valet platform may contain links to third-party websites or services, including those provided by Valeters in their listings or descriptions. These links are provided for your convenience and information only.

18.2. Click Valet does not endorse, control, or assume any responsibility for the content, accuracy, practices, or privacy policies of any third-party websites or services. By clicking on these links, you acknowledge that you are leaving the Click Valet platform and that any interactions or transactions you engage in with third-party websites or services are solely between you and the relevant third party.

18.3. We strongly advise you to read the terms and conditions and privacy policies of any third-party websites or services that you visit. Click Valet shall not be liable for any damages or losses arising from your interactions with or reliance on any third-party websites or services.

18.4. If you have any concerns about a link provided on the Click Valet platform, please contact us at enquiries@clickvalet.co.uk. We will investigate the matter and take appropriate action, which may include removing the link from the platform if it is found to be inappropriate or in violation of our policies.

19. Force Majeure

19.1. Click Valet shall not be liable for any delay or failure to perform any obligation under these Terms and Conditions due to causes beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to acts of God, natural disasters, war, terrorism, riots, embargoes, acts of civil or military authorities, fire, floods, accidents, pandemics, strikes or shortages of transportation facilities, fuel, energy, labor or materials. In the event of such delay or failure, Click Valet shall give prompt written notice to the customer and shall use commercially reasonable efforts to resume performance as soon as practicable.

By using the Click Valet platform, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.

21. Entire Agreement

21.1. These Terms and Conditions, together with the Privacy Policy and any other legal notices published on the Click Valet platform, constitute the entire agreement between the user and Click Valet concerning the use of the platform and supersede any prior agreements or understandings, whether written or oral, relating to the subject matter hereof.
